This morning as we headed to church I spotted a couple deer walking at low tide over to what our children apply call Deer Island. There doesn't seem to be that much forage on the island, but throughout the year we see them routinely swim, or at very low tide like this morning, walk over. Notice that the kelp and sea weed are really starting to grow now. It was quite cold for a May day, and drizzling - more like a day in February.
