Approaching Port AlicePosted by Lars Justinen (Quatsino, Canada) on 3 May 2008 in Landscape & Rural. At the end of our inlet is the small town of Port Alice. Recently they had an art festival and my children were entered in the drawing portion. As we approached the town in our boat (the town would be to the left in the photo) a morning fog was just beginning to burn off creating a nice ethereal affect.

Sharon from Brooklyn, United StatesThis is simply gorgeous. I would clone out that little bit on the bottom left and put this baby on the wall! Such great colors. The fog really does create an ethereal feeling. 3 May 2008 5:22am @Sharon: Thanks, Sharon. I noticed that bit of the boat after uploading. What might surprise you is that I was driving my boat at the time and shot this through the window as we approached the town, and the water was so smooth that morning that I got away with it. Again, thanks for the kind remarks.
